Meet Amy
I've always loved helping, whether it's people or animals. Growing up, I helped out in the yard, cooked with my mom in the kitchen, and went grocery shopping with her every Sunday. That's still the kind of help I love to give. When I leave your home, I want it to feel like family stopped by. I understand it can be hard to find the right help for a family member, and I'll care for yours like my own.
I've called Grand Island home for five years, and I'm still exploring its trails, state parks, and so much good food (Royal Family in Tonawanda is my breakfast pick). Home is my husband, my daughter (my mini-me), our dogs Onyx and Jade, and Sweetpea the cat. My soul dog, Lilah, crossed the rainbow bridge in December 2024, and she meant everything to me. My free time goes to crocheting gifts and baking for family.
I also want to be really good at this. I studied IT at SUNY Erie and worked in the field for over five years, so I'm happy to sit with you until that new phone finally makes sense. I went to culinary school, trained as a baker, and I'm ServSafe certified, so you can trust what I cook in your kitchen. I've volunteered at the SPCA, and your pets will get the same love as mine. And I keep my CPR certification current, just in case.

Everyday help
Grocery runs, errands, waiting on deliveries or repairs, light organizing and tidying up, and seasonal yard work: mowing and light gardening in summer, light snow shoveling and salting walkways in winter.
Pet care
Dog walks, drop-in visits.
Personal chef
Home-cooked dishes made in your own kitchen, as many or as few servings as you like, for tonight or for the week ahead.
Companionship
Friendly visits and conversation, board games, puzzles, arts and crafts, or learning something new together, like crochet.
Tech help
Setting up a new phone or tablet, email, video calls, or fixing the Wi-Fi, explained step by step at your own pace.

Core recurring packages

Plan hours cover errands, tidying, yard work, company, and tech help. Going over your included hours? Extra hours are $40 for plan members.

Chef visits are a 3-dish minimum. On a Weekly or Twice-Weekly plan? Add a single dish to any regular visit; it won't use your plan hours. Already have groceries on hand? Great, no shopping fee.
